Featuring hits like "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Candle in the Wind," and "Bennie and the Jets," the album reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Often considered Elton John's commercial peak, it was a double album recorded at Château d'Hérouville in France and produced by Gus Dudgeon.
