Featuring the singles "Love Is Like Oxygen" which reached the UK Top 10 and "California Nights," this album showcases Sweet's shift towards a more progressive rock sound. Level Headed marked a departure from their earlier glam rock style and incorporated more complex arrangements and experimentation.
