The Beatles - Introducing...The Beatles - 1964 Vee Jay Records, VG/VG
SKU: 36502
1964 US press. Souther Plastics pressing. Oval Vee Jay Logo, heavier/thicker pressing - appx 214gm - than the 1963 ARP or Monarch pressings. Pressing ring about 1" diameter around center hole. Pressed Summer 1963 (genuine 1st press), but not released until January, 1964, due to internal problems at Vee Jay Records. Vee Jay was not licensed to release tracks A6 and B1, and was forced to repress the album, replacing these tracks. This album is one of the more sought after variatios. The cover, stamped "INSP. BY EZ" is in very nice and stiff with no tears or breaching. Overall great shape considering it's age with some light outer and edge wear along with a small sticker on the back. The vinyl has nice sheen and has been play tested, start to finish. The record sounds fabulous with just a hint of clicks in between tracks. The only downside is, visually, the vinyl has various, light, superficial sleeve / lines. Visually grading at the lower end of VG. Sonically, a great record hands down. Nice addition to your collection.
