Featuring the hit singles "Vacation," which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Get Up and Go," the album marked a continuation of the Go-Go's signature pop-rock sound. Vacation was the band's follow-up to their debut album and showcased their evolving musical style during the early 1980s.
